& I love art and design
I am a Junior at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business majoring in Marketing and Operations and Information Management. I am driven and deeply interested in design and aesthetics and pursue any opportunity that provides me with the exposure and skills that will allow me to pursue a career in the creative fields. I enjoy coding, color theory, and sketching.
Implemented and created a marketing strategy for Georgetown's fully student lead financial literacy program. Maintained social media presence and created consistent marketing outreach methods to engage students and increase the reach of the program on campus.
Served as the Deputy Director for Communications and Graphic Designer for the Student Association. Helped to develop and maintain digital strategy and produce promotional materials for student representatives.
I was responsible for the full graphic scale of this year’s TEDxGeorgetown conference. This is includes the creation of all promotional materials and the development of theme images and assets for other content creators.
Assists the Dean of Professional Development in creating promotional materials for the Office of Professional Development, including presentations, event promotion and development of a student resource website.
Through conceptualization to finish product, logo creation involves a deep understand of the meaning of an object and what to expect from it. I chose to redo the STAUB USA logo for a simple reason, I felt that I understood the brand and that I would have the ability to bring it into he 21st century. I decided to keep osme of the most important elements from the original logo and to only update what was necessary. Clean lines and smooth transition of color was my focus and final product was a logo that held the same symbolism as before but with a new outlook.
The purpose of a communications team is to provide an aesthetic and effective means of providing information to the desired audience. As the director of social media and graphic designer, I took my job seriously. I try to institute a method of creating graphics that would allow for students to associate it with the student association without even the need of a Logo. To cut through the massive amounts of information out there and provide students the information that would allow them to succeed.
TEDxGeorgetown as an experience allowed for me to flourish as a designer. My first real exposure to a full graphic design load, I was able to embark on a creative journey that would allow for me to truly engage with my art in new ways.
Common $ense was my first business project. Allowing me to take my free style of art and attempt to form a corporate identity of a financial literacy program. Through this I was able to understand myself as an artist more and develop the skills necessary to attempt new projects.
My first full fledge video production. Working with the Georgetown scholarship program provided me the opportunity to engage with the medium of video. I enjoyed every second of it and was truly amazed at how engaging the editing process goes into. From color correction to audio formatting the process was illuminating and freeing.
